| SAM Workshop at Shail Group of Institutions |

Concerned with the gradual erosion of social responsibilities and moral values in every sphere, Shail Group of Institutions is organizing an event, which in a nutshell, will draw attention of the youth to self improvement, self reliance, setting up of priorities that value long term over short term and importance of contribution over consumption. This unique ‘Self Assessment and Management (SAM)’ workshop is being organized in collaboration with Yuva Pariwar Sewa Samiti (www.ypss.org), a Delhi based organization, which has 35 branches with over 2 lakh selfless volunteers and it is conducting SAM workshop all over India. The objective is to develop strong leadership skills, understand deep Indian values, emotional management, life management skills and optimum utilization of available resources. The presentation will span two and a half hours in the form of ballet, drama, film, music, parody and guest lecture. This unique presentation is being conducted for the first time in Madhya Pradesh. |

| As part of the weeklong Annual Day Celebration 2012, Shail Group of Institutions conducted Annual Sports Meet from 26th to 29th Feb 2012. Over 3500 Students and staff of Indore Institute of Science & Technology, Indore Institute of Science & Technology (II), Indore Institute of Management & Research, Indore Institute of Pharmacy and Indore Institute of Computer Application participated. There were 12 boys and eight girls team. |

| TCS Trains Indore Institute of Science & Technology Students |

| 25th Nov 2010 was a red letter day for Indore Institute of Science and Technology. Mr. James Masalmani of TCS flew down from Mumbai and presented TCS accreditation letter to Dr. S. R. Lapalikar, Principal, IIST. Consequent to the accreditation, TCS selected 60 students in a close campus drive. The second round of campus drive by TCS is due. As per company procedure TCS conducts training of prospective students on various emerging technologies and IT market scenario. |

The Techfest comprised of technical events, sports, entertainment and also a rock band. The technical events comprised of items such as PC assembly, robot race, robot soccer, robot bowling, robot swimming, error detection & coding of C++, dare to do, etc. |

| Annual Day Celebration-“Dazzle 2011” |

| Shail Group Of Institutions celebrated its Annual Day “Dazzle-2011” on April 9 , 2011 at its lush green campus. Mr. Jeetendra Singh Rathi of the governing body was the Chief Guest. He was welcomed by Dr S R Lapalikar, Principal IIST, Dr Maya Ingle, Principal IICA, and Prof Umesh Parekh, Principal IIP. Mr Rathi congratulated the Principals, faculty, staff and students for their outstanding achievements throughout the year and making SGI as a force to reckon with not only in Indore but also in entire Madhya Pradesh. Dr. S.R.Lapalikar presented the Annual Report and highlighted the progress made by the colleges and the laurels earned by the students. The function commenced with the lightning of ceremonial diya and Saraswati Vandana. |

| ‘WIPRO MISSION 10 X’ PROGRAMME AT SHAIL GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS |

Indore Institute of Science & Technology and Indore Institute of Computer Application of Shail Group of Institutions hosted Wipro Technologies for their ‘Mission 10X’ programme from 28th March to 4th April, 2011. Wipro has set up ‘Mission 10X’ which aims to augment employability of graduate engineering students. The plan will encourage systematic changes to existing teaching-learning patterns in engineering education. |

| Integrated Campus Approval |

AICTE had mooted a proposal of forming Integrated Campus to optimize resources of educational institutes while undertaking capacity building to meet the growing demand of professionals in our country. Shail Educational & Welfare Society has understood the far reaching implications of Integrated Campus and projected a proposal to AICTE to convert existing institutions viz Indore Institute of Science & Technology, Indore Institute of Science & Technology (II), Indore Institute of Computer Application and Indore Institute of Pharmacy into an Integrated Campus. AICTE has examined the proposal in detail and accorded approval to the same on 11 July 2010. |

| Opening of a new Engineering College, IIST II |

| AICTE has approved opening of a new engineering college, IIST II, from academic session 2009-10. This addition to the Shail Group of Institution will bring in additional 60 seats each in Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication and Civil engineering. It will facilitate more number of students to join this premiere engineering college of MP. |
